Not much, only about three inches. And it’s light powder, so it only took me half an hour to shovel front and back steps and paths, and dig out Comet… although I still need to clean Comet off before I can take Mom to church. But it was time for a break… the nose spotted a bit red, and I was shaking. Time for meds and breakfast!
That’s one of the big adjustments I have to make: eating a proper breakfast every day, instead of the slice of cheese on a slice of toast I was having most mornings before leaving for work. I have never been able to eat within the first half hour to an hour after opening my eyes. My system just usually isn’t ready to deal with food. I have to change that, since my Metformin has to be taken with food. I will also need to actually eat some form of lunch every day…. although it is easier to easier to eat to small snacks between breakfast and supper, with my all-over-the-clock schedule. Which, if you look at older breakdowns of meal habits, may actually be a healthier choice over-all.
Well, at least I got some exercise in! And since I have to do the laundry, that will be a bit more (stairs). And Mom and I should be able to get our walk in tonight.
