Welcome to 2015

I debated writing a post on New Year’s Eve, but to be honest, I was too wiped out. New Year’s Day, I worked, then came home to watch the Rose Parade, which I taped so I wouldn’t miss it. I worked today, too, and I am tired and sore, and still don’t know exactly what I want to say in my first entry for 2015.
Most years have highs and lows. 2014 was no different. Hubs is still in the UK, the Kidling is still growing, still trying to decide who she is. I hit the half century mark. Since I rarely feel like I am that old, it doesn’t tend to bug me too much.
But I am still struggling, still trying to define who I am, and wondering where my dreams went. I am still not published, I am still not living the American Dream of my own home and lifestyle, and enough for a comfy retirement. To quote Meatloaf “Life is a lemon, and I want my money back!”
